Post Mortem from Ataor (Prog)


Implementing the remapping of controls was actually more troublesome than expected because we initially went with Unity's new InputSystem, which no developer in our team were familiar with. before going back to InputManager Sunday. so, while it can be good to try new things in a gamejam. I'd say it's even better to decide a time limit for things to testing, in order to avoid unnecessary stress.

Same goes for building the game, I always forget how long the webgl build can be ;_;

Some assets couldn't make it in the game either because of the lack of time, and that's a shame because our artists are really talented, kudos to them.

All in all, we lacked time in order to test the game and receive some feedbacks, like how tedious it is to remap the controls. Should definitely try to have a working prototype after half of the jam next time !
